The safety requirements for the use of Jiunai Mechanical Steel Bar Straightening and Cutting Machine during use are as follows:
1. Rebar straightening and cutting machines must be operated by designated personnel. Operators must undergo a professional safety knowledge assessment and obtain a certificate upon passing the examination. The machine must be mounted firmly and securely, maintaining a horizontal position. Fixed machines must have a secure foundation; mobile machines must have their travel wheels securely secured during operation.
2. It is strictly forbidden to operate a machine while it is faulty. If a fault is discovered, the machine must be shut down immediately, the power must be disconnected, and repairs must be performed by a professional machine repairman. A dedicated person must be assigned to supervise the machine during repairs. A shed must be constructed to protect the machine from damage and rain, and a storage area for raw materials and semi-finished products must be provided next to the machine.
3. When processing long steel bars, there should be a dedicated person to assist and the operator should obey the instructions of the operator and not push or pull them arbitrarily.
4. The material rack and trough should be installed straight and aligned with the center line of the guide cylinder, straightening cylinder and lower cutting hole.
5. Turn the flywheel by hand, check the transmission mechanism and working device, adjust the clearance, tighten the bolts, and after confirming that everything is normal, start the idling operation. Also, check that there is no abnormal noise from the bearings and that the gears are meshing well. Only after the operation is normal can the machine be operated.
6. Choose the appropriate straightening block and transmission speed based on the diameter of the rebar being straightened. The hole diameter of the straightening block should be 2-5mm larger than the rebar. The transmission speed should be selected based on the diameter. For larger diameters, a slower speed is recommended. Only after the straightening block passes the test can the material be fed.
7. Do not feed materials before the straightening block is fixed and the protective cover is closed. It is strictly forbidden to open the protective covers and adjust the gaps during operation.
8. After the steel bars are fed in, keep your hands at a certain distance from the traction sheave and do not get close to it.
9. Before feeding, cut off the ends of the crooked steel bars. Install a 1m long steel pipe in front of the guide cylinder. The steel bars should first pass through the steel pipe and then be fed into the guide hole at the front end of the straightening cylinder.
10. If there is still a slight bend in the straightened steel bar, gradually increase the offset of the straightening block until it is straightened.
11. After cutting 3 or 4 steel bars, stop the machine and check the length. If the length exceeds the allowable deviation, adjust the limit switch or the length plate.
12. After operation, the finished products should be stacked, the site should be cleaned, the power supply should be cut off, the switch box should be locked, and lubrication should be done.
